REVIEW: Scores NYC

This club is another one we heard a lot about by followers and friends. We went to Scores on a Saturday night so it was very busy but there were several options on where to sit so we chose one close to the stage. The main stage had a different look than we have seen previously. There was no pole but there was a design that looked like a carpet that went from the main stage to one of the side stages. The back of it was covered in tv screens that would show music videos and other things while the girls danced without being too distracting. I do like a girl who knows how to work a pole though so I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t one on the big stage. There were 2 smaller stages close to the main one that did have poles though and several girls utilized them. We paid a 30$ cover per person and the drinks were super expensive. We stuck to beer for that reason. I don’t recall being told about a drink minimum though.
We sat for a while and talked without being approached at all. Then a girl finally pulled up a chair and said she noticed we had not been approached and she wanted to tell us why and explain a little more about their club. She told us that couples make them nervous so I explained that they should still approach couples because there are others, like us, who want attention and dances and are there to have a good time. She then asked “how far do you want to go tonight? Do you want to go all the way?” I was confused and I said “with him? Of course I want to go all the way!” I never fully understood what “all the way” meant to her but she explained that most of the fun happens in private rooms at their club. This was the first time we had heard of a private room so we were intrigued. She told us anything goes, no one opens the door and we just pay for one person for I think 45 minutes in the room. We couldn’t understand by her explanation if that meant we got to take a dancer in or not. We couldn’t see the appeal of paying a massive amount of money for a room for 45 minutes if it was the 2 of us since we had a hotel we could fuck in later. So I told her I really appreciated her telling us that because we would never have known and that I also appreciated her approaching us.
We didn’t see her again after that though. Still, no one asked us for a dance. We did get asked about a massage though…that’s right…massage. I have never been asked for one before so I looked at my man and he gave me the nod of approval. The girl giving the massage was not a dancer but more like a burly German lady. She had a belt with all of her lotions and stuff in it and gave me the massage right at the table. She massaged my neck, hands and upper back for 3 songs. It costs the same thing a lap dance would have cost. She did a good job just a little too rough for my liking but I bet it would have felt much better on a bigger man.
There were several other couples there that night so that was good to see. They both were approached by dancers and one of the couples did get a dance.
There was a waitress walking around with a bottle of vodka and whipped cream giving people shots. I’m allergic to vodka so I couldn’t partake but had it been a bottle of tequila, that would be a different story 
The restrooms were clearly marked and the women’s was even separate! It was clean and convenient so thank you Scores for that!
I would give Scores a higher couple’s appeal rating than FlashDancers for sure but I do wish we had been approached for a dance. The girls were very attractive here but again, I wish they would give a little more show. it seems like they just get through their few songs on stage so they can go and give dances. I understand that is how they make more money but I appreciate when they put on a good show so I can walk to the stage and ask for a dance.
I do recommend this club if you are in the area. The service was awesome and our waitress was smoking hot. It is a little pricey but it seems like most of the clubs in NYC are. They also have a steak house in another area of the club so you could go and grab dinner before you hang out in the club if you want. We didn’t eat here so I can’t vouch for the food but I did see good reviews on Yelp and heard good things from friends so you should check it out.
